Sarah & Sean || McDowell Nature Reserve Engagement
I met Sarah and sean on a summer evening at Mcdowell Nater Preserve. This is a beautiful park right off of Lake Wylie in Charlotte, North Carolina. I love taking couples to local places for their engagement sessions. I can take engagement photography anywhere; however, going to places close and dear to the couple is always more meaningful to me (and, most importantly them). Sarah and Sean told me they like to take their sons here to fish and play by the water. They go to the parks and spend the long summer days watching the sun go down over the lake. I knew this was the place for their engagement session. I connected so deeply to them as I took these photos. They were comfortable. They were having fun in a place they love. That's the type of engagement photo I adore. These moments were pure, authentic, and timeless.
