I come to each wedding day and photography session with a documentary approach. I clear my slate so that I can take in each individual wedding, couple, and family. This method allows me to document you just as you are. I observe and follow my clients around- becoming a part of their special day with a camera between us. I like to take photos of those moments, in-between the big ones. These moments, I have found, are the most meaningful.

You probably realize how fast your family is growing and changing. Photography doesn’t just have to be for the big moments, like the birth of a new child, it can be for all milestones big and small. I bring a documentary style into capturing families. A family session with me would look and feel like doing your favorite things together. Things like throwing a Frisbee at the park or baking cookies at home are what will make your true selves shine through— my work is not the typical smiling at the camera type of family session. I want every photo to show what it feels like to spend a day with your little clan.

A classic family session is an hour long at one location of your choice.

Baby Bear Package

The Baby Bear Package includes three one-hour sessions. Typically maternity, newborn, and six-month family. By pre-scheduling all three, you’ll beautifully capture every sentimental milestone without missing a single moment.

Each sessions gallery will include 70–100 edited, high-resolution images and up to three different locations to tell your story in a variety of settings. -
The baby bear packages is $1250 and requires a signed contract and a 50% deposit to book all three dates.
Heirloom Family Sessions

An heirloom family session in 90 minutes long to give you and your children the most amount of time to get comfortable in front of the camera.

Heirloom family sessions include 90 minutes of coverage at one location. This package includes 90-150 edited images in an online gallery, one roll of 35mm film and eight polaroid shots.

I specialize in intimate weddings in the south east. I am based out of Charlotte North Carolina but I capture gatherings of 100 guests or fewer everywhere.

My packages, ranging from $4,000–$6,000, include 35mm film, Polaroids, and a custom parting gift with prints and a keepsake USB, so you can relive your day in the most tangible, artful way.

Elopements

Elopements are intimate celebrations of love. They are gatherings of 25 guests or fewer, or sometimes just the two of you. Whether it’s a courthouse ceremony, a snowy cabin, or a windswept North Carolina beach, I capture the magic and meaning of your day with an artful, documentary eye so it feels as effortless and extraordinary as your love story.

All elopement packages include 35mm film, polaroids and a sentimental parting gift. Elopements packages range from $1850-4000.

are you available to travel?
I am available to travel both locally and internationally. I am thrilled to travel to the location of your interest, just ask.
Do you provide a second shooter?
Yes, I can provide a second shooter for your special day. In fact, I include a second shooter in all wedding packages eight hours and above.
Do you have back-up gear?
I always carry back up equipment, as a rule of thumb 2 of everything. My gear, data and myself are fully insured.
What equipment do you use?
I have two Sony Alpha 7iv bodies, a Sigma Art 1.4 35mm, a Tamron 2.8 24-75mm, and a Sigma Art 85mm. I also travel with a polaroid and a 35mm film camera—Sony smart flash, fractals, and an icelight.
what is your photographic style?
I have a documentary approach to photography. I come from a fine art background, which is just a fancy way of saying I went to school for photography. My work is warm, exciting, and unscripted.
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes! Absolutely. I recognize how important hard copies are and would love to assist in making them.
I offer custom albums that are designed to be heirlooms.
What if we’ve never been in front of a camera?
Don't worry, I got you! Your time in front of the camera will fly by and we will have some great memories afterward.
How does the contract/ Payment work?
My contracts, payments and invoices are all sent via email through a client management system called HoneyBook.
How far in advanced should I book?
The best-case scenario is nine months, especially for high-traffic fall and spring months.
