Jaclyn and Aubry reached out to me to plan their stunning mountain top micro wedding at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, the common theme of 2020 is a change of plans. Their wedding venue was canceled due to COVID restrictions. This didn't stop Aubry and Jackie though, they were hell-bent on getting married this year, and that was precisely what they were going to do. The couple decided to downsize to just immediate family. They planned a magnificent backyard micro wedding at Aubrey's family home on Lake Norman, North Carolina. It was laidback and stunning, just like the brides.

This crisp September day was sent from the heavens. Everything aligned for these two to join together. They finally had a little downtime to seal the deal. Through their stress of starting a family and buying their first home, the wedding was a beacon of light. I learned was that Aubry was carrying the first child of their wedding day. What an exciting and thrilling discovery! In my opinion, it's not considered a shotgun wedding if you already had a wedding scheduled when you got pregnant. They were excited that their family dream came faster to them than they were initially anticipating. Now I am anticipating a future maternity session with these two!

Seeing Jaclyn and Aubry together, hearing their vows, and sharing the love with their family on their wedding day is why I am in this business. Also, for the free cake. When they look at each other, it's like their the only two people in the room. I think everyone hopes for a love like that someday.
