It seems like every time I bring my clear bubble umbrellas to a shoot, it doesn't rain. As I drove into uptown Charlotte, the low clouds hung around the skyscrapers. Hello, moody city session! Sky and Noah had just moved into the Charlotte area, and their one request was a shot of the city skyline. We started near the Mint Museum of Uptown and adventured around the city towards Romare Bearden Park. We even lucked out and found a picturesque rooftop.

Skye told me that she and Noah were not photogenic, but as you can see, this clearly wasn't the case. These two oozed with love and adoration, and it came through on every frame. I am so glad they decided to brave the rainy weather and come out with me that evening. Their engagement session was nothing short of perfect.
